Koco: 1991, 15.3 hand, Black, Mare, Trakehner OSB
Pedigree: (Solist X Kordona)
Registrations: American Trakehner Official Studbook Mare
“Koco” is new to our stable. She was purchased as a broodmare to add to our breeding program. She is also a dressage riding horse. We are currently putting Koco back to work on the lunge line and under saddle. She is well schooled in dressage. We are still learning about “Koco” but so far she seems to be willing and very accommodating. We are looking forward to breeding her this spring.
Her full brother, Koblenz, was a fully approved Trakehner Stallion and a wonderful mover.  Her dam line in Germany is very small but has the highest percentage of approved Stallions of the Trakehner Studbook.  She brings to America a very interesting pedigree.
* She is available for lessons. Please Inquire.

Jasper: FOR SALE He is doing training level dressage, is bomb proof and alot of fun to ride. He will go anywhere. At the age of 2 he went to a Sporthorse Show and took home a 79.9% score. He is a character and has a ton of personality. Due to my family growing, I do not have the time to ride Jasper at the moment. He is working on his canter at this time. It is coming along but he needs more miles. He is lifetime registered with USEF & USDF.

Imko:
FEI Dutch Warmblood from Denmark. Imko is 16.1 hands tall and has been out of work for the last 3 years or so battling lameness issues. So with the frustration of trying to get him sound, we decided to retire him to pasture. Imko loved retirement. Then one day in September 2007 I noticed that Imko was running from me in the pasture and looked sound. I pulled him out and had the farrier out to put front shoes on and what do you know, he is sounder than he has ever been since I have owned him in 2001. Imko was trained and ridden by Tara Stegen and had many lessons with Robert Dover. Imko is a dream come true riding horse for me. He is by far my greatest instructor and seems he will continue to do that for a few more years with me. I am just grateful to have Imko back under the saddle and plan to enjoy all the time I have with this great horse. We are taking going back to work slowly, building muscles and not pushing too hard. I hope one day Imko gets to teach my daughter Kasey how to ride.

Gossip: Rescued Paint Mare. Gossip was rescued after a severe founder and the previous owners could not take care of her. We gave Gossip a home for over 2 years until she passed away in October of 2005. We miss Gossip alot. She was a fighter, she was tough and loved to be scratched and groomed. The picture below is of when we rescued Gossip.

Gossip

Mischief: Rescued TB Mare. Mischief was rescued at the same time as Gossip. Mischief is doing quite well. She is enjoying retirement living on lush green pastures in Elgin Texas. The picture below is of when Mischief was rescued.

Mischief

Sox: A rescued 3-gaited American Saddlebred. Sox was rescued from a farm in Lampasses where he dropped all of his weight and foundered. Sox is around 22 years old and is enjoying free roaming of our farm. He has not put on much weight. The vet stays he may look like heck but his heart is fine and he is very happy being free to roam the farm. Here are pictures of Sox when he was a show horse.

Summer: A rescued 3-gaited American Saddlbred. She is now a successful broodmare in our breeding lease program. Please read Summer's story here.  (PDF file)  Get Adobe Reader
